My background in visual art gives me an edge over my UX peers as I have a great feel for aesthetics and creative problem-solving. Additionally, I've spent ten years living abroad in Australia, South Korea, and Taiwan, working as a vineyard hand, an English teacher, and a writer/editor. I have an appreciation for and sensitivity to other cultures, and I'm a keen observer of people. My experiences have been informing my design since I made the career switch in 2021.
